Okay, okay, that was TOTALLY corny and cheesy, but I couldn't help it. I really love the holidays, and it was weird to think that it's actually that time of year without a tree.
So we got one.
It was also one hell of a cookie weekend. I'm sticking to my word and doing cookie gifts for everyone this year, and I've been poring over every holiday magazine and cookie book I can get my hands on. So I picked out a handful of recipes that sounded good, cut 'em in half, and put the oven to work. I made:

- Snickerdoodles
- Cinnamon chip coins
- Chewy molasses spice
- Chocolate peppermint

And, here's one of my most favoritest photos of the year:

I love my kid. And my dog.
Ha! I don't know you reasoning for making everyone cookies this year but for me, I'm only spending significant MOO-LAH on my kids, my hubby and Bam Bam. Everyone else gets the gift that keeps on giving..... extra weight! :)
