viva las vegas

tomorrow at this time, i'll be zooming up the freeway, on my way to pick up my cousin and another girlfriend. i'll have just dropped off the hub at one airport and hoping to get to another airport, most likely sobbing and drooling - in all the years we've known each other, even before we were "us", we've never been separated for this long before. *choke* i'm going to be a mess.

hence this girls-only trip to vegas! we actually booked it a few months ago through vegas.com and got a fabulous deal. going mid-week helps a lot, too. anyway, i thought it would be a great idea to have some bonding time and take my mind off of things at the same time. we'll be staying at the aladdin-now-planet-hollywood hotel, and my checkbook is already cringing at the idea of having all those fun shops right under my very nose. not to mention, we're going to hit the hotel spa, and i can't wait to settle in for some fabulous pampering.

i know y'all are gonna miss me. i won't be able to post for a few days! i'll miss you too. as i sip on some lovely non-alcoholic beverages, alternating between 3-card poker and black jack. or, perhaps while i stroll through uber-swanky shops whose wares i can't possibly consider scooping up. maybe as i heft my belly into the pillow with a hole in it for my massage?

in any case, don't you worry. i'll be back.
