the hub is home! safe! happy! tired! bearded!
he has never looked so good to me. i waited at the terminal, excited, scanning every face, all dressed up with heart pounding and ridiculously nervous. and then....my phone rings.
"i'm here! where are you?"
"waiting for you here at the exit! where are YOU?"
"right out front, at the bottom of the stairs!"
of course, i'd gone to the wrong "exit". dammit. but i didn't care. as i talked to him, i rushed out the doors and made a right, and there he was. and of course, i started bawlin
g as soon as we made eye contact.

it was wonderful.
and today, the kid's home from her dad's.
the dog has been going nuts at the family reunion.
all is right in the world once again.
