when my eyes popped open this morning around 6:30, it didn't take more than a few seconds to realize that i'd slept all night long. without hearing a peep from the bean. !!!
i sat up slowly, peeked over the hub's still-sleeping form, and was amazed to see that she was also still asleep - in her own bed - and in the same position she was in when we came to bed last night. this is amazing, folks. she's never, not once, in her entire almost-two-years-of-life, slept through the night! until now. we were so proud.
what a great way to start our morning. yay!
Congratulations on Wean The Bean! I think she's officially weaned. Funny thing I weaned babyM while on vacation and as soon as we were done, she too was sleeping thru the night. AWESOME SAUCE. I also miss the closeness. A month or two later, she caught me in the middle of putting on my bra after a shower and caught site of the "bobos". I bent down to her level to see what she'd do and she just stared as if it were the first she had ever caught site of them. She hesitantly poked and prodded and thot to pinch my nipples. Funny thing kids are!
