it's that time again.

today, we're headed down to the beach for our annual family photo shoot.  this is our fourth one, and although each of our photographers have been fantastic, it's been fun having our pictures done by someone new every year.

the first year, it was done by a friend of a friend.  look, it was pre-bean!

the bean's first appearance on a christmas card was in this photo. our photographer was sarah chen:

we've avoided the cliche'd soCA beach backdrop for ages, but have run out of ideas for where to do it.  and so maybe we'll cheese it up a little this time.  yeah, we can get cheesier, believe me.  heh.

it's gonna be fantastic.
