cuteness overload

playdates really are the best thing ever.  especially when it's with friends we haven't seen in a long time.

case in point:  nanette, em and mimi.  the bean was really excited to learn that we were not only planning to meet up with them, but that our venue was the grove/farmers market - home of delicious food and the ever-popular american girl store.

i mean, really.  how cute is this?

on the way to the farmers market for something to eat, they strolled hand-in-hand and pointed out interesting things to each other.

meanwhile, the teen was enchanted by the gorgeousness of little mimi.

but the fun didn't stop there.  we headed out to the valley to celebrate my mom's birthday at our old favorite pasta place:

and then capped it off with something cool and sweet before making the long trek back home.

so much fun, friends, and family.  that's a whole lot of f-bombs...the good kind.
