didn't have to ask me twice.
it was late afternoon, and so we managed to score a pretty sweet parking spot close to the front, most likely occupied by an exhausted fairgoer who'd been there when the gates opened and was completely spent from the day.
the hub walked right past the photographers at the entrance, but the bean and i posed happily.
ah, the sights, sounds and smells of the fair.
i don't know if it was because he hadn't been to the fair in years or if he was trying to put me through some sort of special torture, but instead of heading right to the grandstand to check out the cookies, he steered us towards "the farm" to check out the animals.
hey, kid, you're totally getting photobombed.
the hub is deathly allergic to bees, and so we skipped this part.
who can resist the allure of the pig races? not us.
i mean...FREE BACON. does it get any better?
dinner was from here. somehow, whenever the opportunity presents itself, the hub always chooses pink's.
and one last time, just because i can:
yessssssssss.
happy birthday, little sister. love you and miss you.
