february being the shortest month of the year didn’t stop us from cramming as much fun stuff into it as possible (which is pretty typical of us, i suppose).
i decided to try crocheting that balloon animal using a bigger, chunkier yarn and it turned out like this:
and then i found a pattern to craft a stanley tumbler out of similarly sized yarn. why? i don’t know. but i could, so i did.
super bowl.
the bean took a few more dance lessons at millennium.
when school is in session, only the saturday morning classes fit in the schedule. but that also means we have time to do fun stuff afterwards, like stopping in chinatown for some chinese new year fun.
or maybe little tokyo for some delicious udon.
i picked up the brightest pair of shoes ever for sunday boot camp.
we headed out with our friends to koreatown and checked out the newest craze - a DIY instant ramen shop. you grab a pack from the wall o’noodles, pick out your favorite toppings and then take it all over to the ramen cooking machine. you know how much i love a good novelty experience, and this one was really fun. and delicious.
while we were out there, we found our new favorite donut shop - old ferry donuts. they’re soft and fluffy with delicious, light fillings that aren’t overly sweet. and the packaging is so cute!
plus, they sell flavored milk in these cute pouches. doesn’t everything taste better in fun packaging??
we got to have some family fun time at one of disneyland’s nighttime events:
and squeezed in a trip to universal studios too.
and that was february!
